The Hays Wind Project has been in the development phase for 4 years. The site was first noted for its high winds ever since Wild Bill Hickok was around, but now, local residents are looking to take advantage of this wind and harvest it. The Hays Wind energy project represents the sustainable development that is needed in our state and our country.
